NVQ Diploma Level 7 in Management (QCF)

This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom as well as in the work place. In this programme you will take three mandatory units and supplement with optional units. Although similar to the level 7 BTEC, evidence for this diploma will be acquired in the work place. Students will develop the underpinning knowledge in each of the units and then demonstrate their understanding by demonstrating this in the work place. Students will develop skills in policy and procedure development, innovation in their area of responsibility, health and safety, as well as improving organisational performance.

The total unemployment rate was 2.62 million or 8.3% of the working population as of September 2011, and is expected to reach 3 million (Office of National Statistics ONS) any day soon. Female unemployment is standing at 1.09 million, and highest in the South east.

I joined career Studies College in 2010 to study for an NVQ level 3 course in health and Social care. The support given me during this course has been an invaluable tool in improving my career development. The assessors and teachers at Career studies have given me the opportunity to join an unstinting and dynamic team whose philosophy lies on developing a sense of knowledge and professionalism in all they do. I have now been given another opportunity to complete my PTTLS award and well and truly on the way to developing the career I crave and ultimately my dreams.
