This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom as well as in the work place. In this programme students will be able to develop leadership and management retail skills in the classroom prior to applying what they have learned in the work environment. The students will look at dealing monitoring and scheduling staffing, delegation, improving customer service relations, stock and inventory, monitor and evaluate service delivery, training needs and CPD, recruitment and retention of valuable staff. The students will develop soft skills in communication and various other aspects of being in a retail environment. The student will study stock auditing, keeping records, company policy and procedure, and developing techniques and skills in effectively working in a retail environment.
