This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom as well as in the work place. In this programme students will be able to develop essential retail skills in the classroom prior to applying what they have learned in the work environment. Students learn one mandatory unit and four optional units. The student will learn the basic in being in an efficient and effective team. They will learn how to handle stock, and the procedures for keeping track of what is in stock. The student will develop best practices for collecting and controlling payments from customers as well as safe handling practices for loss prevention. And finally, the student will develop customer service skills that will enable their organisation to develop repeat customers.
